Abu Dhabi - Decypha LEAD Development and Project Management Consultants LLC (LEAD) has announced its plan to build the first residential community of private “green” villas and townhouses in Masdar City, Abu Dhabi. The project is in a joint effort with The National Investor PJSC (TNI).
The freehold real estate development is set to include apartments over 250,000 meters square of gross floor area (GFA), and is planned to accommodate around 5,000 residents by 2022. It will be open to both UAE and foreign national investors.
The project is located in the southern district of Masdar City’s Free Zone and will meet
meet a minimum three Pearl rating according to Abu Dhabi Urban Planning Council’s Estidama sustainability framework for built environments and urban communities.
The residential project has set asaid approximately 7,800 square meters for community amenities, with space available for commercial units. Abu Dhabi’s planned light rail system will also serve residents.
Masdar City, a sustainable eco-neighborhood, is designed to reduce energy and water consumption. Featuring a smart and accessible transportation network, it will host everything from multinational companies to cafes, restaurants, and retail stores.
