Doha – Mubasher: Medicare Group announced yesterday that it set 16 February for its extraordinary general meeting.
According to a bourse filing, the EGM will discuss the board’s proposal to amend the company’s statute to comply with the Companies Law No. 11 of 2015.
The meeting will also look into a recommendation by the board to amend the article (8) in the company’s statute which limits the ownership of shareholder, legal and neutral persons, at 10% of the company’s shares, and article (3).
The company’s board will gather on 14 February to discuss the financial results of 2015.
Medicare share rose 1.02% to QAR 88.70 at close.
