Dubai – Mubasher: Yvolv, a joint venture (JV) between Alibaba Cloud and Meraas, has signed a strategic partnership agreement with Digital Oasis Information Technology (DOITC), according to a statement.
Under the agreement, Yvolv will provide services for its Saudi customers to support the country’s digital transformation journey.
“Saudi Arabia will lead the way in IT spending in 2017, investing an annual budget of $7.5 billion in transformative technologies such as cloud, big data, social, and mobility according to the latest IDC report,” Yvolv CEO Fahad Al Hajeri said.
Public cloud spending in MENA is expected to hit $2 billion by 2020, according to the latest Gartner report.
