Doha - Mubasher: Mesaieed Petrochemical Holding (MPHC) financial statements showed QAR 301 million ($82.6 million) profits in the fourth quarter of last year. The company recorded no profits in the same quarter of the previous year.
According to a statement to Qatar Stock Exchange on Sunday, MPHC profits last year were QAR 1.09 billion, against a profit of QAR 1.08 billion in 2014, with 1% rise.
Earnings per share amounted to QAR 0.87 in 2015, versus QAR 1.43 in 2014.
The board of directors recommended total annual dividends at QAR 879.4 million, or QAR 0.7 per share. They also agreed to hold an ordinary general meeting on 9 March.
The group’s profits during the first nine months of last year dropped to QAR 786.1 million, from QAR 1.376 billion in 2014.
