Cairo – Mubasher: Metropolitan Egypt Consulting is in talks with a number of banks and financial leasing firms over getting EGP 34 million in financing.
The company is negotiating with four financial leasing firms and two lenders over an EGP 16 million loan in favour of International Co. For Dental Supplies, chairman of Metropolitan Egypt told Mubasher in a phone call.
Moreover, the Egyptian financial services company is in talks with two financial leasing firms to obtain an EGP 9 million loan for First car Rental Co, Khaled Nagaty said.
The company has also approached the National Bank of Egypt (NBE) and Banque Misr for an EGP 9 million loan for United Co. for Packaging Material (Unipack), Nagaty added.
He revealed that the company has obtained an EGP 3 million in financing from Qatar National Bank (QNB).
Metropolitan Egypt gets 60% of its financing from banks, while the remaining 40% it gets from financial leasing companies, he highlighted.
It is worth noting that Metropolitan Egypt aims to raise its financings in small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and large-scale projects to around EGP 750 million in 2019.
