Microsoft names Alharbi as president for KSA operations

Mubasher: Microsoft announced on Sunday the appointment of Thamer Alharbi as the new president for Microsoft Arabia in Saudi Arabia.

As the president of Microsoft Arabia in KSA, Alharbi will lead Microsoft’s efforts in boosting and accelerating digital transformation and innovation across industries, the US technology firm said in a statement.

“Thamer is joining Microsoft at a time where our technologies are translating the Saudi Vision 2030 into a reality, and we are delighted to have Thamer Alharbi leading Microsoft in Saudi Arabia,” the president of Microsoft Middle East and Africa, Samer Abu-Ltaif, said.

Thamer Alharbi commented: “Microsoft, with its solutions from the intelligent cloud to the intelligent edge, will be an enabler and driver of the Saudi vision 2030.”
