Doha – Mubasher: Qatar Navigation Company’s (Milaha) profit fell in the first quarter of fiscal year 2016 by 3.6% to QAR 352 million ($96.65 million), versus QAR 365 million ($100.22 million) in Q1-15.
Earnings per share reached QAR 3.1 ($0.85) in the three-month period, compared to QAR 3.21 ($0.88) in the same period of 2015, according to a bourse filing released on Sunday.
In 2015, net profits reached 1.095 billion ($300 million) versus QAR 1.049 billion ($285 million) in the fiscal year 2014.
Milaha’s shareholders earlier approved cash dividends at 50% of capital or QAR 5 ($1.37) per share for 2015.
