Miral Company’s Yas Bay Arena construction nears completion

Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: Miral Company announced that it has made major construction progress at the Yas Bay Arena in Abu Dhabi, with its longest roof truss.

The 18,000- seater bay is the first facility of its kind in the UAE capital and is designed to host sports, corporate, and cultural events, Arabian Business reported, citing Mohamed Khalifa Al Mubarak, chairman of Miral.

“The completion of Yas Bay Arena is a significant milestone for Yas Island. It is a testament of our commitment to creating world-class attractions within the live entertainment industry. It complements Yas Bay’s appeal as an emerging waterfront leisure and entertainment district and our overall ambition of making Yas Island a top global destination that entertains, thrills and excites visitors,” Al Mubarak said.

The Abu Dhabi government-backed developer didn’t reveal further details on the project’s timeline and cost.

Yas Bay will comprise a promenade and pier with 37 cafés and restaurants, 19 retail outlets, a beach club, and two hotels.
