Cairo – Mubasher: The financial indicators of Misr Hotels has shown a 28% year-on-year surge in profits for the nine months ended March 2018 due to higher sales.
The company achieved profits of EGP 161.7 million in the July-March period of fiscal year 2017/2018, against EGP 126 million during the same period of FY16/17, Misr Hotels said in a filing to the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) on Sunday.
Sales grew to EGP 359.4 million in the first nine-month period of FY17/18, up from EGP 129.16 million in the prior-year period.
Misr Hotels had previously posted an EGP 88.6 million in profits for the first half of FY17/18, versus profits of EGP 94.24 million in H1-16/17.
