Cairo – Mubasher: Misr Italia Properties has decided to postpone offering its shares on the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) this year, the company’s CEO said.
The share sale on the EGX is not the optimum choice in the meantime due to the current situation of the market, Mohamed Hany El Assal told reporters on Monday.
El Assal noted that even the government has delayed its initial public offerings (IPOs) programme.
Listing on the stock market aims to raise the company’s capital and business, he pointed out.
Misr Italia previously announced its plans to float a 20% to 30% of its shares on the Egyptian bourse during the third quarter of 2018.
