Cairo - Mubasher: The Egyptian minister of finance said that his ministry is currently studying the best procedures to apply stamp tax on the stock exchange trading.
Amr Al Garhy noted, in an answer to a question from Mubasher in a press conference on Sunday, that the ministry of finance (MoF) is carefully considering ways to encourage and support the activity in the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) which saw a rising trend by 60%.
The project to delay the duty by three years is being discussed by the Egyptian parliament, Al Garhy added.
