Cairo - Mubasher: The Egyptian ministry of housing has obtained around EGP 2.4 billion from 30,919 applicants seeking to purchase 30,000 land lots, offered by the New Urban Communities Authority, and the Housing and Development Bank.
Around 29,547 people have applied for the low cost social housing, totalling EGP 738.87 million, while 9,981 applied for the special lots, paying EGP 499 million, and 4,706 applied for the most special lots paying nearly EGP 1.176 billion.
The land lots are offered in diffrent space areas from 209 to 1,500 square meters in new cities across the country.
