Riyadh – Mubasher: Saudi Arabia-based Etihad Etisalat Co. “Mobily” signed an agreement with Virtustream to develop cloud computing services in the Kingdom.
Virtustream is a subsidiary of Dell Technologies business and Dell EMC.
Mobily will provide new cloud computing services at its data centre in Riyadh in a bid to link it to the other two centres in Dammam and Jeddah, according to a statement.
Under the agreement, the Saudi telecommunications provider will own the largest cloud computing network in the Kingdom and will offer secure cloud services to the country’s corporate sector.
In November, Mobily signed a deal with Ericsson to develop, expand, and upgrade its networks in the Kingdom’s western region.
