Cairo – Mubasher: Egypt's money supply rose slightly by EGP 633 million in September to EGP 838.911 billion, versus EGP 838.278 billion in August.
Year-on-year, money supply increased by 13.6% in September to EGP 838.911 billion, versus EGP 738.456 billion in the same month last year, data by the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) showed.
Egypt’s domestic liquidity rose to EGP 3.54 trillion in September, versus EGP 3.05 trillion in the same month of 2017.
The CBE also said that Egypt's foreign reserves rose marginally in October to $44.501 billion, compared to $44.459 billion in September.
