Mubasher: Moody's Investors Service has downgraded Qatar's credit rating on Friday, according to a recent report.
The ratings agency downgraded Qatar's long-term issuer and sovereign debt ratings to Aa3 from Aa2, and changed its outlook to stable from negative.
Moody's attributed the change in rating to the increasing external debt and uncertainty over the sustainability of the country's growth model over the next few years, while changing outlook came on the back of optimism around the implementation of fiscal and economic reforms.
