Riyadh - Mubasher: Moody's Investors Service (Moody's) has announced on Tuesday that it has officially launched operations in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, after obtaining the approval of the Saudi Capital Markets Authority (CMA).
"The launch of Moody's operations in the Kingdom reinforces its ongoing commitment to the development of the debt capital market as the Kingdom focuses its efforts to diversify the economy as part of the country's Vision 2030,'' said Robert Fauber, the president of Moody's.
The agency received a commencement letter from CMA on Sunday allowing it to conduct rating activities in the Saudi market.
Mahmoud Totonji has been appointed as the general manager and for the company is Saudi Arabia.
