Cairo – Mubasher: Misr Fertilizers Production Co (Mopco) on Wednesday posted a 371% year-on-year hike in consolidated profits for fiscal year 2018.
The company has logged a net profit of EGP 3.17 billion in the 12-month period ended 31 December 2018, versus EGP 674.7 million in 2017, according to a filing to the Egyptian Exchange (EGX).
Sales increased to EGP 8.5 billion last year from EGP 7.3 billion a year earlier, the company said.
In February, Mopco reported standalone profits of EGP 1.48 billion in 2018, versus EGP 1.02 billion in 2017.
