Cairo – Mubasher: The ordinary general meeting (OGM) of Misr Fertilizers Production Co SAE (Mopco) has approved cash dividend distributions of EGP 2 per share for 2017.
The OGM endorsed 2017 financial statement and the board’s report of the company’s activities for the same year, the fertiliser producer added in a filing to the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) on Sunday.
The OGM also approved the board's decision to donate a total amount of EGP 11 million for 2018, the Egypt-based company noted.
The unaudited financial indicators of Mopco had previously shown a 4.9% drop in profits during 2017 to EGP 674.8 million, against profits of EGP 709.93 million in 2016.
