Cairo - Mubasher: The consolidated financial statements of Misr Fertilizers Production Co (Mopco) on Tuesday showed a 41% year-on-year rise in profits for the first three quarters of 2017 due to a jump in sales.
Mopco’s profits grew to EGP 646.9 million in the first nine months of 2017, compared to EGP 459 million in the same period in 2016, according to a bourse filing.
Mopco’s sales doubled reaching EGP 1.8 billion in the first three quarters versus EGP 693.9 million in the prior year period.
The company’s H1-17 standalone statements had also shown an increase in profits to reach EGP 753.5 million, compared to EGP 377.67 million in H1-16.
