Riyadh- Mubasher: Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman said that there are more than 40 Muslim countries are joining forces to coordinate their military, intelligence, financial and political efforts in order to eradicate the extremist ideology, sending a clear message of unity in the fight against terrorism, Bin Salman said in the opening remarks of the meeting of Islamic Military Counter Terrorism Coalition defense ministers in Riyadh.
“The biggest threat from terrorism and extremism is not only killing innocent people and spreading hate, but tarnishing the reputation of our religion and distorting our belief,” Prince Mohammed said.
He added that the concluding statement of the conference would announce a slew of initiatives after the approval of defense ministers.
The Saudi Crown Prince condemned the attack on an Egyptian mosque on Friday that killed hundreds of worshippers, stressing the Kingdom's support to Egypt to counter terrorism.
