Mubasher: Morocco's annual inflation declined to 0.3% in January from 0.6%, mainly due to falling food prices, according to the data released by the High Planning Authority on Monday.
Food inflation eased to 0.2% from 1.1% in January 2015, while non-food price inflation rose to 0.6% from 0.2% in December.
Transport costs fell 0.4%, while hotels and restaurants were 2.3% more expensive, the authority said.
On a month-on-month basis, the inflation fell to 0.1% in January from 0.5% in December. Food price inflation fell 0.3%, while non-food inflation dropped 0.1%.
