Mubasher: Morocco's consumer price index declined by 0.6% year-on-year in December from 0.9% in November as food prices dropped, said the country's high planning authority Haut-Commissariat Au Plan.
On a month-on-month basis, CPI kept unchanged at 0.5% in December.
Food inflation fell to 1.1% from 2.1% in the 12 months to December. Meanwhile, non-food price inflation reached 0.2%, the same rate as in the last month.
Transport costs fell 2.9%, while hotels and restaurants were 2.7% more expensive, the agency said.
