Morocco’s real estate prices fall 2.2% in Q3

Mubasher: Morocco’s real estate prices declined by 2.2% during the third quarter of 2015 compared with the same period of 2014, according to the data released by Bank Al-Maghrib and National Agency for the Memorization of Real Estate.

Real estate prices dropped 16% in Marrakesh, Casablanca ( 6.1%), El Jadida (3.7%) and Fez (0.7%). Meanwhile, prices in Quneitra rose by 2.2 %, Meknes (0.4%) and Rabat 1%.

The number of transactions fell by 8.7%, which reflects a 8.4% decline in apartment sales.
