Mubadala Investment, Infrastructure Partners exit Abu Dhabi Terminals

Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: Mubadala Investment Company and Mubadala Infrastructure Partners (MIP) have closed a deal to sell their 50% stake in Abu Dhabi Terminals (ADT) to Abu Dhabi Ports, a master developer of ports and industrial zones in Abu Dhabi.

“Our strategic investment in ADT is a demonstration of our continued commitment to growing and developing core industry sectors in Abu Dhabi,” Mubadala’s CEO for Aerospace, Renewables, & ICT Khaled Al Qubaisi commented.

ADT operates and manages a 30-year concession at Khalifa Port Container Terminal in the emirate, making it the first commercial port operator in the UAE capital.

"We wish to thank Mubadala and MIP for their valuable contribution since the inception of ADT,” Abu Dhabi Ports’ CEO Mohamed Juma Al Shamsi said.

The companies did not reveal the value of the sale.
