Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: Mubadala Investment Company is looking for new investments in agriculture, said the company’s deputy CEO Waleed Al Mokarrab Al Muhairi on Tuesday.
Abu Dhabi state investor is set to open an office in san Francesco in six months, in compliance with its commitment to SoftBank’s Vision Fund, Al Muhairi added, according to Al-Ittihad newspaper.
The deputy CEO stressed that the company would launch a $400 million fund in partnership with Soft Bank in the US and Europe, Al-Ittihad reported.
“Mubadala has committed $15 billion to SoftBank’s $93 billion private equity fund, the SoftBank Vision Fund, which has also raised money from Saudi Arabia’s main sovereign wealth fund and other investors,” the top official revealed, according to Reuters.
