Mubadala's AUM amount to AED 853bn in 2019

UAE - Mubasher: Mubadala Investment Company reported assets under management (AUM) of AED 853 billion in 2019, up from AED 840 billion in the earlier year.

The company's total comprehensive income amounted to AED 53 billion last year, compared to AED 12.5 billion in 2018, according to the company's press release on Thursday.

Completing important transactions in the previous year, the company has locally and internationally invested AED 68 billion in various asset classes and sectors, including healthcare, life sciences, and transportation.

The Group CEO and Managing Director, Khaldoon Khalifa Al Mubarak, noted: "As the world faces a global pandemic, we are working across our portfolio in partnership with communities which have been hit hard by COVID-19."

Meanwhile, the Chief Financial Officer, Carlos Obeid, said: "In 2019, we continued to manage our balance sheet carefully, with a prudent debt-to-equity ratio of 11.8%.
