Cairo – Mubasher: Mubasher International For Securities came among the top 10 brokerage firms in terms of the trading value on the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) during August.
Mubasher landed the seventh position, acquiring 3.6% or EGP 2.04 billion of the total trading value through the exchange of 814.8 million shares.
Hermes Securities Brokerage topped the list with a turnover of EGP 5.07 billion, representing 9% of the total traded value, through the exchange of 2.15 billion shares.
In addition, the Financial Brokerage Group came in the second position, making up 7.7% or EGP 4.3 billion of total turnover, followed by the Commercial International Brokerage Company with EGP 4 billion.
Pioneers Securities ranked fourth among the brokerage firms with a turnover of EGP 3.2 billion, followed by Beltone Securities Brokerage and Arabeya Online Securities with EGP 2.7 billion and EGP 2.11 billion, respectively.
Meanwhile, Sigma Securities Brokerage landed the eighth spot with a turnover of EGP 2.01 billion, while Pharos Securities acquired EGP 1.9 billion and Arqaam Securities Brokerage made up EGP 1.73 billion.
