Mubasher: Special Counsel Robert Mueller requested Deutsche Bank to provide data on U.S. accounts belong to President Donald Trump and his family, an informed source told Reuters on Tuesday.
Deutsche Bank received a subpoena from Mueller many weeks ago to disclose information on “certain money and credit transactions”, Reuters reported, citing the mentioned source as saying.
The German bank handed over key documents regarding Trump’s accounts, stating that it “would not comment on any of its clients”, the international news agency revealed.
Mueller is investigating allegations regarding cooperation between Russia and Trump’s campaign during the last US Presidential election, which denied by Russia’s officials.
