Mubasher: Bahrain Mumtalakat Holding Company acquired a significant equity stake in Envirogen Group, a UK-based water treatment firm, according to a statement.
The acquisition was completed through a joint investment syndicate led by Promethean UK Opportunities Fund II, with the participation of Gecos Invest and Hermes GPE Environmental Innovation Fund.
Envirogen aims to expand its business in Bahrain and the GCC region to meet the growing regional demand for water treatment solutions.
