Musanada completes 89% of New Al Ain Hospital

UAE – Mubasher: Abu Dhabi General Services Company, Musanada has completed 89% of the construction works of New Al Ain Hospital which is worth AED 4.4 billion in collaboration with Abu Dhabi Health Services Company, SEHA, according to Emirates News Agency (WAM).

Musanada remarked that 99% of the utility building works of the new hospital that spans an area of 347,000 square metres, 96% of the main building works, in addition to 97% of electromechanical works and 89% of architecture works are now completed.

Furthermore, around 3,100 workers along with six main contracts engaged in the project of New Al Ain Hospital worked around the clock to deliver the project within the planned time as per the international specifications and standards, according to WAM.

In addition, the installation of solar panels as well as the commissioning works of ten substations are now completed in collaboration with Al Ain Distribution Company. Furthermore, the initial commissioning and testing of the hospital’s systems have successfully started before handing the project facilities over to SEHA.

“The new hospital will have 719 beds, including 510 beds for general medicine, surgery, children’s ward and maternity and royal suites, 67 for ICU, 142 for medical rehabilitation. It will also include 104 advanced specialised clinics, 17 radiology rooms for X-ray, CT Scan and MRI services, as well as 22 specialised rooms for endoscopy diagnosis and procedures”, according to WAM.

The project will further feature an educational and simulation building equipped with simulation rooms, learning halls, and a central library.
