Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: Abu Dhabi General Services Company (Musanda) announced completing 66% of New Al Ain Hospital construction, in cooperation with Abu Dhabi Health Services Company (SEHA).
Spanning an area of 347,000 square metres, the project’s total cost amounted to AED 4.4 billion, according to Musanda’s statement to Emirates News Agency (WAM).
Ali Al Haj, Musanada’s executive director, stated that the project is part of the company’s efforts to realise the vision of President Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan to provide high-quality healthcare services in line with the best international specifications throughout the UAE.
“The project represents part of Musanada’s contribution to achievement of Abu Dhabi Plan and its main objectives on the healthcare front," Al Haj added.
It is worth noting that Musanda started working on the project in March 2014, with a total workforce of 3,462 workers.
The executive director noted that Musanda completed 83% of the utility building works, in addition to 71%, 76% and 54% of the main building works, the electromechanical, and the architectural works, respectively.
