Mubasher: The benchmark MSM index of the Muscat Securities Market ended Tuesday’s trading with a growth of 0.3% or 17.1 points to the level of 5,703.65 points.
Trading volume increased to 14.94 million shares from 11.8 million shares exchanged on Monday, turnover also rose to OMR 3.01 million from OMR 1.79 million.
The financial sector grew 0.31% as Al Anwar Holdings topped gainers by adding 1.69% and Bank Muscat leapt 0.96%, the latter made the highest trading activity with a volume of 2.54 million exchanged at OMR 1.07 million.
Meanwhile, Al Izz Islamic Bank led the red list with a fall of 1.45%.
The services sector increased 0.24% due to a rise of 1.45% in Renaissance Services and 0.58% in Ooredoo Oman. The industrial sector advanced 0.12%.
