Mubasher: The benchmark MSM 30 of the Muscat Securities Market closed Thursday’s trading with a growth of 0.37% or 21.57 points to the level of 5,869.79 points.
Trading volume rose to 20.835 million shares from 12.76 million shares exchanged on Wednesday, turnover also increased to OMR 2.747 million from OMR 2.11 million.
The industrial, financial and services sectors leapt collectively by 0.61%, 0.39% and 0.06% respectively.
Al Anwar Ceramic Tiles was the best performing stock after adding 2.69%, while Al Hassan Engineering was the worst performer after falling by 2.60%.
Oman Fisheries was the most active stock; making a trading volume of 7.33 million shares and a turnover of OMR 452,000.
MSM 30 declined on Wednesday by 0.14% or 8.06 points to the level of 5,848.21 points.
