Mubasher: The benchmark MSM 30 of the Muscat Securities Market closed Tuesday’s trading at the level of 5,849.42 points after falling by 0.42% or 24.38 points.
Trading volume decreased to 8.47 million shares from 10.74 million shares, turnover also declined to OMR 1.92 million from OMR 2.57 million.
The industrial, financial and services sectors dropped collectively by 0.47%, 0.39% and 0.38% respectively.
Oman Flour Mills was the only riser as it grew by 0.65%, while Al Jazeira Services topped losers with a drop of 6.92%.
Omantel made the highest liquidity of OMR 250,880, while Oman and Emirates Investment Holding was the largest-traded stock with a volume of 1.16 million shares.
