Mubasher: The MSM 30 index of the Muscat Securities Market ended Thursday’s trading with a rise of 0.62% or 35.82 points to the level of 5,792.66 points.
Trading volume reached 26.81 million shares exchanged at OMR 6.32 million, compared to 17.34 million shares exchanged on Wednesday at OMR 3.3 million.
The financial, industrial and services sectors rose collectively by 1.12%, 0.61% and 0.12% respectively.
Oman and Emirates Investment topped gainers by adding 4.35%, while Construction Materials Industry headed losers after falling by 3.23%.
National Bank of Oman made the highest activity with a trading volume of 4.5 million shares and a turnover of OMR 1.5 million.
