Mubasher: The benchmark MSM 30 of the Muscat Securities Market closed Wednesday’s trading with an increase of 0.05% or 2.68 points to the level of 5,615.94 points.
Trading volume decreased to 10.51 million shares from 18.93 million shares exchanged on Tuesday, turnover also shrank to OMR 2.86 million from OMR 5.74 million.
The financial sector rose alone by 0.07% as Al Batinah Development and Investment Holding topped gainers by adding 2.27% and Al Izz Islamic Bank grew by 1.59%.
However, Al Omaniya Financial Services led the red list with a fall of 6.67%.
On the other hand, the services and industrial sectors declined by 0.23% and 0.01% respectively.
Bank Muscat led the trading activity with a volume of 1.75 million shares exchanged at OMR 713,520.
