Mubasher: The MSM 30 index of the Muscat Securities Market closed Monday’s trading at the level of 5,729.38 points after rising 0.02% or 1.11 point.
Trading volume increased to 12.91 million shares from 6.79 million shares exchanged on Sunday, turnover also rose to OMR 2.84 million from OMR 2.61 million.
The industrial sector dropped 0.13%, the financial sector shrank 0.1% and the services sector declined 0.02%.
Gulf International Chemicals, up 1.5%, topped the green list, while Oman Cement, down 2.56%, was the worst performing stock.
HSBC Oman was the largest-traded stock with a volume of 3.24 million shares, the stock fell 1.71%.
Bank Muscat made the highest turnover of OMR 686,200, the stock rose 0.45%.
