Mubasher: Oman's MSM 30 index fell at Tuesday’s close by 0.09% or 4.92 points to the level of 5,481.3 points.
Trading volume decreased to 12.43 million shares from 42.69 million shares exchanged on Monday, turnover also declined to OMR 3.35 million from OMR 16.29 million.
The services sector dropped 0.28% as Al Jazeira Services, down 4.59%, was the worst performing stock, and Renascence Services fell 3.08%.
The financial sector retreated 0.11% due to a fall of 1.79% in Gulf Investment Services, 1.6% in Oman and Emirates Investment, 1.47% in Al Izz Bank and 1.23% in Bank Nizwa.
On the other hand, the industrial sector leapt 0.07% as Voltamp topped gainers by adding 1.74%.
Bank Muscat led the trading activity with a volume of 2.25 million shares exchanged at OMR 943,010.
