Mubasher: Oman’s benchmark MSM 30 index fell at Monday’s close by 0.07% or 4.08 points to the level of 5,726.88 points.
Trading volume decreased to 8.47 million shares from 11.91 million shares exchanged on Sunday, turnover also declined to OMR 1.73 million from OMR 2.18 million.
The industrial sector shrank 0.28% due to a fall of 1.33% in Raysut Cement, 3.13% in Construction Material Industry and 1.79% in Al Hassan Engineering.
The services sector declined retreated 0.24% as Al Suwadi Power dropped 3.23% and Oman Education Holding, down 5.96%, topped losers.
Meanwhile, the financial sector advanced 0.02% as Muscat Finance, up 1.64%, led risers, Bank Muscat rose 0.89% and HSBC Oman grew 0.85%.
Bank Nizwa made the highest activity with a volume of 3.11 million shares exchanged at OMR 255,060.
