Mubasher: The MSM 30 index of the Muscat Securities Market declined at Monday’s close by 0.06% or 3.25 points to the level of 5,815.36 points.
Trading volume increased to 20.15 million shares from 15.8 million shares exchanged on Sunday, turnover also shrank to OMR 3.71 million from OMR 4 million.
The services sector dropped 0.12%, while the industrial and financial sectors rose 0.3% and 0.14% respectively.
Al Madina Takaful topped gainers after adding 2.17%, whereas Renaissance Services led decliners after falling 2.04%.
Al Madina Investment was the most active stock in terms of trading volume with 4.7 million shares, while Bank Muscat made the highest turnover of OMR 532,096.
