Mubasher: The Muscat Securities Market (MSM) ended Monday’s trading on a negative note as its benchmark MSM 30 fell 0.36% or 20.97 points to the level of 5,847.44 points.
The Shariah index also shrank 0.28% to the level of 885.06 points.
Turnover reached OMR 2.03 million through exchanging 7.7 million shares.
The industrial, services and financial sectors declined collectively by 0.46%, 0.44% and 0.19% respectively.
Al Madina Takaful was the worst performing stock after dropping 3.95%, while HSBC Oman led the green list by adding 0.99%.
Bank Sohar was the most active stock with 1.59 million traded shares, whereas Bank Muscat made the highest liquidity of OMR 378,500.
