Mubasher: The benchmark MSM 30 index of the Muscat Securities Market closed Thursday’s trading with a fall of 0.35% or 19.93 points to the level of 5,660.22 points.
Trading volume increased to 49.12 million shares from 9.82 million shares exchanged on Wednesday, turnover also rose to OMR 7.35 million from OMR 2.48 million.
The industrial sector declined 1.2% due to a drop of 8.56% in Al Anwar Ceramics and 4.76% in Oman Fisheries.
The financial sector also retreated by 0.52% as Gulf Investment Services Holding shrank 5.17% and Bank Nizwa decreased 2.44%.
The services sector closed 0.11% down as Al Jazeira Services topped the red list with a fall of 10%.
