Mubasher: The benchmark MSM 30 index of the Muscat Securities Market ended Tuesday’s trading at the level of 5,477.7 points after falling by 0.07% or 3.74 points.
Trading volume decreased to 8.21 million shares from 12.56 million shares exchanged on Monday, turnover also shrank to OMR 2.32 million from OMR 4.1 million.
The services sector shrank 0.16% due to a 1.85% fall in Ooredoo Oman. The stock made the highest trading activity as 1.42 million shares were exchanged at OMR 904,540.
The financial sector declined 0.09% as Gulf Investment Services Holding led decliners with a 2.8% fall, while Al Izz Islamic Bank topped gainers by adding 3.17%.
