Mubasher: The benchmark MSM 30 index of the Muscat Securities Market ended Monday’s session falling by 0.1% or 5.81 points to the level of 5,686.55 points.
Trading volume decreased to 11.8 million shares from 40.2 million shares exchanged on Sunday, turnover also shrank to OMR 1.79 million from OMR 7.96 million.
The financial sector fell alone by 0.6% as Oman United Insurance topped the red list with a fall of 2.78% and Bank Dhofar declined 2.68%. However, Takaful Oman Insurance led the green list by adding 2.36%.
On the other hand, the services and industrial sectors rose by 0.14% and 0.12% respectively.
