Mubasher: The benchmark MSM 30 of the Muscat Securities Market ended Tuesday’s session falling by 0.18% or 10.63 points to the level of 5,752.11 points.
Trading volume rose to 7.48 million shares from 7.44 million shares exchanged on Monday, while turnover decreased to OMR 1.4 million from OMR 2.06 million.
The financial sector declined by 0.25% due to a 4.35% fall in National Finance, while United Finance topped gainers by adding 1.94%.
The industrial sector shrank 0.21% as Galfar Engineering and Al Jazeera Steel fell by 0.96% and 0.86% respectively. The services sector dropped 0.06%.
Bank Muscat made the highest turnover of OMR 314,200, while Oman Fisheries made the biggest trading volume of 1.54 million shares.
