Mubasher: The Muscat Securities Market closed Thursday on a positive note as its benchmark MSM 30 leapt 0.28% or 16 points to the level of 5,766.14 points.
Trading volume declined to 1309 million shares from 18.92 million shares, turnover also decreased to OMR 2.52 million from OMR 4.51 million.
The financial and industrial sectors rose by 0.64% and 0.13% respectively, while the services sector shrank 0.08%.
Ooredoo Oman led the red list after falling by 0.5%.
