Mubasher: The benchmark MSM 30 index of the Muscat Securities Market ended Thursday’s session with a fall of 0.55% or 30.57 points to the level of 5,562.31 points.
Trading volume increased to 15.76 million shares from 9.48 million shares exchanged on Wednesday, turnover also rose to OMR 3.75 million from OMR 2.25 million.
The industrial sector declined 0.6% as Construction Material Industry topped losers with a 3.33% decrease.
The financial sector shrank 0.5% due to a fall of 2.63% in Ahli Bank, the services sector dropped 0.19% as Omantel slid 1.32%. The stock made the highest liquidity of OMR 1.67 million.
