Mubasher: The benchmark MSM 30 of the Muscat Securities Market closed Tuesday’s session falling 0.07% or 4.42 points to the level of 5,856.28 points.
Trading volume increased to 10.13 million shares from 9.16 million shares exchanged on Monday, turnover also rose to OMR 2.56 million from OMR 2.21 million.
The market capitalization dropped by about OMR 9 million to OMR 17.114 billion from OMR 17.123 billion by the end of last week.
The financial, industrial and services sectors fell collectively by 0.17%, 0.07% and 0.16% respectively.
Global Financial Investment led risers with a growth of 2.65%, while Muscat Gases topped losers after dropping by 9.94%.
Bank Nizwa was the most traded stock with a volume of 1.63 million shares, whereas Muscat Bank made the highest liquidity of OMR 546,200.
