Mubasher: The MSM 30 index of the Muscat Securities Market rose at Sunday’s open by 0.06% or 3.2 points to the level of 5,822.72 points.
Trading volume reached 6.27 million shares exchanged through 399 transactions, making a turnover of OMR 964,250.
By 11:20am Muscat time, the financial and services sectors rose 0.18% and 0.04% respectively, while the industrial sector declined 0.2%.
Al Batinah Investment, up 7.22%, was the top gainer, while Muscat Thread Mills topped losers after falling 9.65%.
