Mubasher: The main index of the Muscat Securities Market grew in Sunday’s early trading by 0.15% or 8.78 points to the level of 5,905.5 points.
The Shariah index also rose by 0.18% to 894.54 points.
The financial and industrial sectors leapt by 0.50% and 0.40% respectively, while the services declined 0.03%.
Trading volume reached 8.6 million shares exchanged through 387 transactions by 11:25 AM Muscat time, with a turnover of OMR 1.6 million.
Al Madina for Finance and Investment topped the green list by adding 4.84%, while Phoenix Power headed the red list with a fall of 0.65%.
Al Izz Islamic Bank made the biggest trading volume activity with a volume of 1.36 million shares, whereas Al Anwar Holdings made the highest liquidity of OMR 313,600.
